Thanks for the helpful article Dan. i find the content above is very focused on lead generation tools and apps, not a bad thing at all, just think it is worth mentioning tools that help motivate/engage remote teams during the days of everyone working from home. You could add tools like Hoopla and SalesCompete — tools that hook into existing software your team already uses for managing communication with prospects (like Outreach and Salesloft) to boost rep accountability and gamify their day-to-day.

Hi Dan, this is a pretty inclusive list. I was expecting something much more linear with the apps all serving more or less the same functions with slight interface changes, rather than a variety of unique categories I wouldn’t normally connect with sales, so that’s refreshing. There’s a lot that goes into sales and I think it’s more than valid to consider these as as a supplement to a completed sale.

Since it seems like you also wanted to offer variety in pricing and platform choice, I was wondering if you’d want to check out our inSitu Sales app (for ioS, Android, and Chrome) for consideration on aritcles in the future. It’s more for reps handling field sales (kind of like Spotio on #34), and is partnered with Quickbooks and SAP B1. Let me know if I can ever offer more info, because I think it can really offer some value as a low cost option for people who want more integrated apps working with a tighter budget.
