Anybody doing anything interesting with ChatGPT?

I've of course seen the advice to use it to help draft copy for cold outbound emails, summarize call transcripts, write up variations of pitches. Anybody here doing anything else with it that they're finding helpful? If you've got a good tip, I'll include it in a roundup going to our 100k+ members.

Colin, I like the application of telling ChatGPT it is your buyer (tell it one of your ICPs) and then ask it what that buyer’s main issues are. You can also drill down on each answer it gives you and say “tell me more about XYZ”.

You can generate something much like a simulation of a sales call that way. Great for sales training/pre-call prep.

Also interesting, but not with ChatGPT, but with GPT itself. There are interesting ways to clean prospect lists etc. AI can allow you to do “fuzzy logic” that is not possible with straight Excel formulas. Allows you to clean up your CRM data more quickly, name correction etc. More of a revops thing but likely can save some people a lot of time.

This is exactly how I use ChatGPT. “You are Manny Medina, CEO of Outreach – what are your 5 biggest concerns in relation to selling your product in the next 5 years?” and then following up on the 5 concerns it gives me to get a layer deeper.

Nice @sean-gabrus! I think it’s really interesting to prepare this way and brainstorm different angles before trying to actually approach a person or account.

Hey Colin, I am helping few folks to setup their own knowledge base, and improve conversion where a demo is needed. They redirect the user to the conversation page before/instead booking a demo. The chatGPT understand their use case, explains in details how their software helps and solve the problem. Working on presenting users with use-case video walk-throughs. If this sounds intersting, I can talk more about it

Hey Colin. Alisa from Kompyte by Semrush here. We work with sales leaders and product marketing managers who want to use Battlecards for sales enablement. But when they actually have to MAKE the Battlecards, you can see the blank-page paralysis set in real quick. We found that ChatGPT can help you gather all the information you need for a decent first draft in minutes.

Obviously there are caveats, but just getting over that overwhelm and starting can make all the difference. I wrote about it here: https://www.kompyte.com/blog/chatgpt-battlecards

One of my favorite prompts is: Write the 6 main objections a sales rep working at will have to face when discussing with potential customers who are considering , also write the responses and make sure they are short, concise, and sound natural.

Hi Colin, What a good and popular TOPIC. Well done!!!

Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing the way we work, communicate, and think. ChatGPT is only as good as the prompts! Garbage in, garbage out. If you put a generic prompt, you’ll get a robotic answer. ♥‿♥

Here is how i use ChatGPT:

✅ ChatGPT can provide users with healthy meal plans and shopping lists based on calorie allowances and specific dietary requirements.

✅ Did you know, that ChatGPT can create recipes based on food items you already have in your fridge? I LOVE it. Less food waste 🙂 YA YYY.

✅ I also use it to summarize long posts You just say “Please summarize this article in 10 sentences “and pop the url

✅ I use ChatGPT to summarize longs docs, such as in PDF format etc. Just copy the text into GPT and type in ” TL;DR in 10 sentences”

✅ I use Chat GPT to explain complex concepts or any text I am not sure about. Just copy the text and type in “explain this like to a 5 years old(or 5 grader). This is extremely helpful when you want to explain your ideas or complex concept in a very easy way, every day language. Because if people don’t understand your ideas, they tune in-that’s how our brain works.

✅ I use ChatGPT for crafting my headlines

✅ ChatGPT also helps me to come up with content topic ideas

✅ ChatGPT is my assistant when it comes to content writing

✅ ChatGPT helps me to turn a boring copy to one, that grabs attention and holds it to the end.I use it to rewrite content and bring it to LIFE

✅ ChatGPT corrects my grammar and spelling mistakes

✌️ That’s a lot, right? That’s my ChatGPT is my best friend 😊

ChatGPT is a tool, similar to a calculator or a search engine. Just as a calculator can perform complex calculations quickly and accurately, and a search engine can provide a wealth of information in a matter of seconds, ChatGPT can provide answers and insights to a wide range of questions and prompts. However, like any tool, the accuracy and usefulness of ChatGPT’s responses depend on the quality of the input and the user’s understanding of how to use the tool effectively. What ever you choose ChatGPT for — it is a lifesaver for anyone looking to save time while still achieving their goals. Thanks, ChatGPT!
