Hey all, Does anyone have any experience with Sales Commission platforms? (Spiff, CaptivateIQ, etc...) I'm looking into this for a client, and don't know all that much about the pros or cons of any of the platforms. We have 5 people on salary + commission plans.

I work with the RevOps team of an Oil and Gas SaaS. We sell to petrol stations.
Deployed elevate.so in December’22. So far, been great. Reports are mostly accurate and the bickering b/w RevOps and Sales is near extinct, mostly because reps have control and visibility over their payouts. They wouldn’t touch the spreadsheet with a barge pole. Now I see them engaging with the software, which is a big W. Its too early for me to be “Yay!” about the software but early signs are nice.
What I really loved about the Elevate guys was that they were available 24/7, literally. We got a dedicated Slack channel and the implementation folks got us up and running in less than a fortnight. I had heard horror stories of Quotapath and CaptivateIQ taking 4 months to launch…I would have lost my job if that were to happen to me lol.
Do let us know who you go with. This is an emerging space and I’d love to stay on top of new names.
Great feedback here.

Here are some tips for choosing the right platform for your needs:
Consider the size of your team: For a small team like yours, you may not need a complex platform that offers a lot of features. Look for a platform that is designed for small businesses and has basic features that meet your needs.
Look for simplicity: A simple and user-friendly interface can make a big difference in how easy it is to use the platform. Make sure you choose a platform that is easy to navigate and doesn’t require extensive training.
Check pricing: Compare pricing and features of different platforms to make sure you get the best value for your money. Some platforms offer pricing based on the number of users, while others have a flat fee.
Ensure accuracy: The most important factor in a commission platform is accuracy. Make sure the platform can calculate commissions accurately and in real-time.
Consider integration: Look for a platform that integrates with your current sales software and other tools. This can save you time and effort in data entry and ensure seamless communication between different systems.
Overall, when choosing a sales commission platform for a small team, focus on simplicity, accuracy, and value for money. Take the time to research and compare different options to find the platform that best fits your needs.
