What's a rock solid 1st 90 day plan for a head of Sales Development?

The 1st 90 days of a management role is crucial to setting the tone for how you're going to perform on the job moving forward.

Perform well and you gain the trust of your team and those your report to so you have the autonomy to continue seeing your vision through.

Perform poorly and you lose autonomy, resources, and potentially even your job.

For the first time ever, I'm sharing my go-to plan for kicking off your 1st 90 days with a bang as a Head of Sales Development (Mgr, Dir, VP, etc.), covering 3 key areas:

1. Learn - observing the team and how they did business before you joined
2. Build - building your outreach model and resourcing to run it expertly
3. Prove - putting points on the board with your new team + resources to prove you know what you're doing

This is such a great topic!

Your first 90 days in any role can be challenging and still very exciting!

      Great content, as always!

This is very helpful and quite simple…. first 90 days in a new organization or new position are always the most nerve wrecking but also most rewarding…..

What are the key questions to ask in order to observe and measure how the team performs? Any resources in this direction that you could share would be great.
