What's the duration of the learning curve for a new sales representative?

Our company wins 80%+ of our business from inbound opportunities from existing clients. However, we need to add new clients but executive leadership uses the learning curve for inbound sales representatives as the learning curve for new account acquisition. Every new account for us is a loss from a competitor, so we battle the incumbents.

      Varies from industry to the length of the cold sales cycle, especially if they’re responsible for doing they’re own prospecting. Sales is a skill that is learned over time.
