      A couple of months ago, I was struggling with my SDR team. Then I came across a podcast and some material on Sales Hacker that kind of solved a lot of things for us. For example, one of the best thing that we did was to put SDR under Marketing instead of sales. This was a game-changer and all because of Sales Hacker.
      This helped us in identifying the wrong piece of the puzzle in fact, it showed us many other weak points which were affecting operations even for the folks in Customer Success.

      Another thing I learned, REVOPS. This is something that I am still learning but in my 10+ years of sales experience, no one had this wild thought. So REVOPS is something that I am looking forward to introducing to my team in the next quarter.

          They are doing a lot better. I have embarked on building a new sales team for a sister concerned company. Challenges here are different, will share once I discover them all.

      The power of mindset. Approaching difficult situations with a Positive mindset to see opportunity and possibility instead of everything bad that had happened or could happen.

      The importance of focusing your mind on positive outcomes is something I learned on an HBR podcast that I practice daily and has had a profound impact on my life both personally and professionally.

      We need to move from linear presentation-styles to non-linear.

      When we set up a meeting we may have an agenda laid out, but that is not necessarily what the other person wants to talk about.

      Being able to change course without having to say, “let’s schedule more time” or “I will include some info about X in my follow up email” you could discuss in the moment and likely move forward with an opportunity you weren’t targeting.

      We talk about being agile, but are we really?

      I attended a webinar with the NAWSP focusing on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with Lily Zheng where I learned that it was in the wrong order, that if you don’t put inclusion first, your diversity hires will run for the hills. This was the most impactful webinar in the past year for me.
