TrueMotion is looking for an experienced, data-driven, and humble sales teammate who wants to make an impact at a growing startup, and help save lives on the road.

The VP of Sales is a critical and high-profile, quota-carrying role reporting to the Chief Revenue/Customer Officer. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue for the company. You will own and report on sales goals, adjusting tactics as needed to reach them. Youll work closely with the C-level team and executives in marketing, product, professional services, and customer success to drive the companys strategic direction and ensure that our customers are super-successful.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the entire Sales organization including sales executives, sales engineers, and sales development representatives
Identify, recruit and maintain a top talent Sales team
Set and execute company Sales strategies, own the companys sales quota, and drive continuous improvement of quality and output
Together with senior execs and other functions, develop smart, effective go-to-market strategies and programs
Recruit top talent consistently and in a timely manner
Train the sales team to ensure mastery of methodology, tools, and tactics
Elevate individual performance with modeling and coaching
Implement effective & efficient team routine & rhythm
Partner with marketing, product, professional services, and customer success to the manage customer lifecycle
Create smart, effective go-to-market strategies and programs
Monitor and measure sales operations with data and facts
Generates demand and qualified pipeline
Develops and negotiates win-win customer relationships and agreements
Enables team with technology and owns the sales stack
Helps team close deals, but mostly teaches people how to fish
Fosters extreme ownership in individuals & team
Rewards & recognizes performance in sales team and entire company
Enlists aid of other teams to help deliver predictable sales & wins
Own the forecast and forecast accuracy
Be the voice of the market and influence to marketing and product strategy
Ensure customers succeed post-sale and grow our business with them
Complete any additional tasks that may arise

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience building winning enterprise sales teams
Track record of exceeding targets
BA or BS degree
MBA is a plus
