Who should we highlight with a voice that isn't often heard?

Time to address the elephant in the room. Now more than ever, the world needs to embrace diversity and hear the voices of under represented communities. B2B sales has a reputation for not being particularly diverse & here at Sales Hacker we intend to lead the way in correcting that.

This is a great opportunity for our community to step up & lead by example. In your sales career, who have you learned from, has been a mentor, or is someone you look up to, that you feel hasn't gotten the recognition they deserve?

Right now, we want to focus on highlighting minorities & women. So go ahead and tag the people who come to mind in our comments and tell us a bit about why you mention them.

      Oh, man. There are so many. What’s funny is that if you just asked “who are the people in Sales I should be following for the highest quality advice”, my answer would be the same.

      Some of those mentioned are heard from on a regular basis and they are great but you asked for someone who has not received the recognition they deserve yet from this community.

      In that vein I recommend Alex Alleyne. @saleslifealex. I just started following him and his tone and message are 100% on point for the NOW.

      Dene Wiley–woman of color…hard working, highly experienced inside salesperson who has both high tech IT and non high tech experience. She has always been someone who is a great sounding board for me and gives great suggestions about the job market, selling, etc. She is inspirational as a planner with her special 90 day plan that she brings to her jobs; great goal setting.
      She is CURRENTLY looking for work in inside sales remote.
