About the Author

Adnan Chaudhry is Senior Vice President, Commercial Sales at Salesforce focusing on strategic accounts in the US. He has also held sales leadership roles within the Financial Services vertical at Salesforce. 

He was most recently Group Vice President, Global Sales at Oracle where he led the global sales organization for the Utilities and Energy vertical. Adnan joined Oracle in May 2016 through its acquisition of Opower (NYSE: OPWR) where has was Senior Vice President, Sales for the leader in cloud-based energy information software and services to the utility sector. He started his career as an investment-banking Analyst at Salomon Smith Barney and later served as a private equity investment associate at Hicks, Muse, Tate and Furst Inc. 


Adnan graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in Finance and a BA in Economics and received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
